Job Purpose

The ideal candidate must be prepared to work in either Shift or days-based positions; this role will carry out planned and reactive electrical and instrumentation maintenance as required.

Core Accountabilities

• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Installation of new plant or modifications as appropriate.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance.
• Testing and commissioning plant in readiness for operations
• Making plant safe for Maintenance.

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies

• Experience within a Food/FMCG environment
• Engineering Qualification
• Experience with technical problem-solving fault diagnosis, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to effectively balance urgent and important tasks.
• Ability to demonstrate practical hands-on skills, competence, and knowledge of maintenance activities
