Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Corby
Salary: £39,000 - £42,000
Hours: 45 hours per week - rotating shifts 6:00-15:00 / 9:00-18:00 (Monday-Friday)
We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer that is experiencing continuous growth. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining production machinery, ensuring maximum productivity. You will be involved in both planned and reactive maintenance, working within health and safety regulations. Supported by a strong team of engineers, this position offers progressive training and development in a secure and stable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring quick repairs to minimize downtime.
Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance across the facility.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and performance.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all plant equipment is compliant and fit for purpose.
Coordinate and manage external contractors when required.
Oversee apprentices, providing guidance and support in their development.Requirements:
Apprentice-trained with a recognized engineering qualification.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical systems.
Proven experience in carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
Ability to work under pressure with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
