An exciting opportunity to join a leading Estate Agency based in the Newport area. A confident Office Assistant is needed with a background of the Lettings Industry. The role offers a position full of variety, working onsite, full time hours.
Duties Include:
Carrying out general office duties such typing, copying, binding, scanning, filing etc.
Reception duties, greeting members of the public, dealing with telephone enquiries.
Maintaining computer and manual filing systems.
Provide information to internal colleagues and external enquirers.
Liaising with vendors, landlords, tenants and contractors.
Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient.
Managing staff appointments.
Organising maintenance issues, landlord requests and tenant requests.
Greeting and assisting visitors to the office.
Viewings of available properties and negotiating.
Key skills required:
Proof of passing Rent Smart Wales examinations.
Knowledge of office administration procedures.
The ability to work effectively in a busy environment
Confident in dealing with clients
Computer literate with knowledge of Excel and Word
Full UK driving licence.
The hours of work will be from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Some Saturday work may be required.
