Mechanic

Location: Inverurie

Type: Contract (up to 4 weeks) with potential for permanent

Role Overview:

TEXO Recruitment is seeking a Mechanic on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will assist in rebuilding diesel-driven packages, stripping down and rebuilding hydraulic equipment and performing fault finding and servicing on diesel packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and troubleshoot diesel, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective workshop operations
• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Experience in repairing and troubleshooting diesel, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of HSSEQ and related documentation

Preferred:

• Proven mechanical background with diesel engines, fluid pumps and nitrogen equipment or similar
• Overhead crane license
• Forklift license up to 16T or larger
