Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator
Location: Bedford
Salary: £31,000 - £38,000 per annum
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our Bedford team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled tradesperson with at least 10 years of stainless steel fabrication experience who can work independently to a high standard. Welding skills, particularly TIG welding in stainless steel, would be an added bonus but are not essential for this position.
Sheet Metal Fabricator Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and form sheet metal components for larger equipment assembly
Follow technical drawings and specifications with minimal supervision
Operate workshop equipment accurately, ensuring quality workmanship
(Bonus) Perform TIG welding on stainless steel when needed
Sheet Metal Fabricator Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in stainless steel fabrication
Ability to read and interpret drawings and work autonomously
Skilled in using workshop equipment with a high degree of precision
(Preferred) TIG welding skills in stainless steel
Sheet Metal Fabricator Personal Attributes:
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and self-motivation
Team-oriented but able to work independently
Resilient and able to “hit the ground running”
Valid driver’s license
We Offer:
Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Competitive pay of £31,000 - £38,000 with regular overtime, time and a half (paid after 8 hours daily)
