As an NGS Product Development Team Lead based in Manchester you will:
Provide scientific expertise and technical input on varying NGS projects
Provide effective team leadership and management to support with progressing projects through stages of product lifecycle
Plan and report on project deliverables ensuring activities are carried out to schedule by organising resource and communicating within team
Deliver optimised assays and workflows successful for Product Transfer to ops & tech support
Optimise and oversee system integration activities
Profile
To be successful you will have:
BSc or further degree in Molecular biology or related discipline
Minimum 5 years' experience working with NGS technologies, preferably spanning short and long read platforms
Expertise in development, verification and validation of NGS technologies and molecular diagnostic assays
Ability to lead and mentor teams or scientists in a fast-paced environmentJob Offer
