Position Details
Role: Teacher of Science (potential for Head of Chemistry for the right candidate)
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (part-time may be considered)
Salary: MPS/UPS depending on experience, with TLR for Head of Chemistry

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and challenging science lessons across Key Stages 3 -5 (depending on specialism)
Contribute to the development of the science curriculum
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies
Potential to lead the Chemistry department for the right candidate
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic science teacher who:
Has a passion for science and the ability to inspire students
Possesses excellent subject knowledge
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
Shows commitment to ongoing professional development
Has the potential to take on a leadership role within the departmentThe post-holder will have:
A degree in a Science related field
QTS or equivalent
Ability to teach Science across the age range
Right to work in the UK (essential)
