Wind Tunnel Technician - F1 (Fixed Term Contract)

Want to be in one heart of one of the most important areas of any F1 team? Now's your chance to!
We are actively recruiting for a Wind Tunnel Technician for an F1 Team in Northamptonshire for a Fixed Term contract from now until the end of March 2025. This will be on their weekend shift which is 3 x 12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday, keeping your week completely free!
As the wind tunnel technician, you will be responsible for setting up and running the wind tunnel, so you will need to be good at mechanical and electrical assembly as you may be setting up jigs and fixtures through to wiring up sensors before operation. You will also be responsible for going through routine checks before and after operation to ensure it is used correct to ensure consistent results!
In the peak times over the build season this will be a unique opportunity to see the development of both next years contender but also prototype components for the upcoming rule change in 2026! So if you are competent in hands on assembly and competent in understanding the workings of testing equipment.
