CE Planner – Civil Engineering
Tier One Civil Engineering Contractor
Birmingham
Are you an experienced Planner looking to develop your career on a high profile Civil Engineering project? Then a role with this market leading Contractor could be for you.
My client is a multi billion Civil Engineering Contractor delivering an iconic Civil Engineering project across the West Midlands. They are looking to hire a Planner with experience of Claims and Compensation Events to join their team
As CE Planner your duties and responsibilities will include;
* To investigate and evaluate the impact of changes (Compensation Events) in order to establish an extension of time for the Key and Completion dates.
* Liaising with the central compensation event team so that the evaluated time can be incorporated into the overall monthly delay analysis submission.
* Liaise with the Sub Lot Planning, Project Controls and Commercial departments on a daily basis to ensure we recover time and proactively build up a workload of events in advance of the central teams inclusion in their monthly analysis.
* Establish and implement the project requirements for Project Controls
* Support the production and delivery of the Performance Measurement Baseline and Performance Measurement Updates
* Capture and integrate current and forecast programme, budget, cost, and risk at asset and sub-asset level
* Ensure that appropriate lean, coordinated and visual performance metrics are set up to assist the Project Team to timely deliver projects and improve performance
The following qualifications are essential:
* A degree, HND or similar equivalent in a relevant subject is desirable, as is Professional membership of one or more of the following: RICS / CIOB / RIBA / ICE / CIBSE
* Knowledge of CEMAR contract platform.
