SEN Teaching Assistant Needed – 1:1 Support in Mainstream Secondary School
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join our team, supporting students on a 1:1 basis in a mainstream secondary school. If you have experience working with pupils who have additional needs in areas such as behaviour, ADHD, SEMH, and ASD, we’d love to hear from you!
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Location: Mainstream Secondary School
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Daily Rate: £100.00 - £110.00 per day
Key Responsibilities:
* 1:1 Student Support: Work closely with pupils who require tailored support to manage behaviours, ADHD, SEMH, or ASD.
* Classroom Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to implement individualized support plans.
* Encouragement and Guidance: Help students engage with the curriculum in a positive, supportive manner.
About You:
* Experienced SEN TA: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a secondary school environment.
* Patient and Compassionate: Strong understanding of SEN needs, with a caring, patient approach.
* Adaptable and Committed: Ready to take on a full-time role, adapting to the individual needs of each student.
