SEN Teaching Assistant Needed – 1:1 Support in Mainstream Secondary School
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join our team, supporting students on a 1:1 basis in a mainstream secondary school in Nottingham. If you have experience working with pupils who have additional needs in areas such as behaviour, ADHD, SEMH, and ASD, we’d love to hear from you!
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Location: Mainstream Secondary School
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Daily Rate: £100.00 - £110.00 per day
Key Responsibilities:
* 1:1 Student Support: Work closely with pupils who require tailored support to manage behaviours, ADHD, SEMH, or ASD.
* Classroom Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to implement individualized support plans.
* Encouragement and Guidance: Help students engage with the curriculum in a positive, supportive manner.
About You:
* Experienced SEN TA: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a secondary school environment.
* Patient and Compassionate: Strong understanding of SEN needs, with a caring, patient approach.
* Adaptable and Committed: Ready to take on a full-time role, adapting to the individual needs of each student.
