Exciting Opportunity for a Teacher of Physical Education in Newham!
PE Teacher
Location: Newham
Salary: £38,766 - £50,288 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: January 2025
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
GSL Education London Branch are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a PE Teacher to join a coeducational secondary school in Newham. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher who is ready to inspire students and promote a love for physical education. PE Teacher Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons to key stages 3 and 4 across various sports and fitness activities.
Teach students about the importance of physical health, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Create a positive and inclusive environment where every student feels motivated to participate.
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Participate in school events and extracurricular sports activities to enhance the students' learning experience.
PE Teacher Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Strong knowledge of physical education and sports.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
