Early Years Learning Support Assistant
Are you passionate about working with young children and shaping their early learning experiences? We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Learning Support Assistant (LSA) starting January 2025. If you hold a Level 3 childcare qualification or have relevant experience in a UK nursery or school setting, we'd love to hear from you!
The Role
As an Early Years LSA, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities.
Work closely with children to nurture their development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Create a positive, safe, and stimulating environment for all children.
Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities.
Provide individualised support to children where needed, fostering confidence and independence.
Requirements
You must have:
✅ A Level 3 childcare qualification
OR
✅ Proven experience in a nursery or school setting within the UK.
✅ A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff, children, and families.
✅ A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young learners.
Start Date: January 2025
Location: Thurrock, Essex
Contract Type: Full Time Monday-Friday Term Time Only 8:30-3:30
Salary: £85-£100 per day
