Dumper Driver/Machine Operator (Civils Team)
Location: Slough, Southampton, or Poole (Wessex region)
Salary: £32,412 per annum, with additional benefits supporting family, finances, and wellbeing
Happy to discuss contract rate
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. Overtime available.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Dumper Driver/Machine Operator to join our Civils Team, working on an LV/EHV contract in the Wessex region for a prominent DNO. You will perform a range of duties from operating machinery for excavations and installations to supporting utility setups.
What You'll Do:
Read and interpret setting-to-work documentation, including utility prints
Perform excavations and utility setups on verges, footways, and roads
Operate machinery such as excavators and dumpers safely and efficiently
Support team members with traffic management procedures
Assist in reinstating surfaces (concrete, tarmac) to ensure project completion
Requirements:
Streetworks ticket
CPCS Excavator and Dumper Operator certifications
CSCS Skilled Blue Card
Clean driving license
Nice to Have:
IPAF/PASMA working at heights training
HGV Class 2 license
