Sports Coach
Location: Exeter
Salary: £83.33 - £90 per Day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time
Are you passionate about sports and inspiring young people to achieve their best? GSL Education is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coach to join a dynamic co-educational school in Exeter. As a Sports Coach, you will play a key role in developing the physical abilities and teamwork skills of secondary students, helping them excel both on and off the field.
Responsibilities as a Sports Coach:
Plan and deliver engaging sports lessons and activities for secondary students.
Encourage and motivate students to participate in sports and physical activities.
Develop tailored training programmes to meet the needs and abilities of individual students.
Teach a variety of sports and ensure students understand the rules and techniques.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Organise and lead school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
Promote a healthy lifestyle and positive attitude towards physical fitness.
Requirements for a Sports Coach:
Previous experience as a Sports Coach or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of various sports and physical education techniques.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications.
Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to have one processed immediately.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Be able to provide two professional references from within the last two years that relate to your teaching.
A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive sports environment.
