SEN Teaching Assistant

£1664 - £1800
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are holding a Qualified Teacher Status.
Contract dates
January 2025 – May 2025 on a full-time basis.
Vision for Education are looking to recruit a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant in a large primary school, within the Heywood area of Rochdale. The school serves a vibrant and diverse community and is open to all teaching assistants who value and celebrate this diversity at all levels within the learning environment.
The role and school
We are looking for an experienced and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), with a specific focus on ADHD. This is a valuable and extremely rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference on the child's life. This role will commence from January 2025 and you will be working 08:330-3:30PM
Requirements
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Have experience of working with primary aged children.
Have Level 2 or above in a Teaching Assistant course.
Be able to form and develop strong working relationships with staff, parents and pupils.
Have a caring and responsive approach to all pupils.
