What’s On Offer:
* £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
* 10% annual bonus
* Company car, fuel card, private healthcare, pension, and company credit card.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing new business opportunities in high-value industries. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will leverage your understanding of technical drawings, composite materials, and customer CRM systems to drive success.
Key Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Manager:
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the UK and overseas
* Nurture and grow relationships with key accounts across industrial sectors including aerospace and power generation.
* Work closely with internal sales, engineering, and technical teams to respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and manage the order process.
* Spend 2-3 days per week meeting clients across the UK, with occasional overseas travel, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Technical & Industry Knowledge
* Proven experience in selling technical or composite products into industries like aerospace or power generation.
* Ability to read technical drawings and work comfortably within CRM systems.
The Person
* A degree in a technical field is preferred, with a background in mechanical engineering being a significant plus.
* Prior experience selling into blue-chip industries with a strong understanding of composites or related technical materials.
* Open to regular travel across the UK and overseas, with the ability to work remotely and visit clients regularly.
