Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in the manufacture of professional coffee machines as a Pre Planned Maintenance Engineer. Covering the Newcastle areas.
Due to ongoing expansion and growth plans they are looking to expand their Pre Planned Maintenance Engineering team within and around the Newcastle areas.
The opportunity for a Pre Planned Maintenance Engineer:
The main function of the pre planned maintenance engineer role is to support the field engineers customers by conducting Pre Planned Maintenance of coffee machines through the fitting of specific parts as defined by the relevant service interval and schedule. As well as the Service schedule the PPM engineer will need to conduct various checks on specified components which may require replacing for which they would have availability on their van stock.
Attention to other components such as valves and associated components which may require descaling or replacing to avoid faults during or after the planned maintenance is important. Maintaining correct calibration of equipment with respect to coffee quality and agreed customer standards. Replacement of relevant water filters based upon water hardness test as well as machine data information Management of spare parts.
Requirements
Good electro-mechanical knowledge
Relevant industry experience on bean to cup coffee equipment (desired but not essential) – as full training will be given in the shape of a formalised mixture of in-house and on the road
Good organisational and problem solving skills Have initiative, motivation and focus Good and effective communication skills
Ideally a Pre Planned Maintenance background
