Quantity Surveyor / Estimator
Permanent
Near Romford, Essex
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
Salary negotiable DoE c£70,000 - £75,000 + package
About the company:
50-year-old, £16m turnover contractor, who are a conservatively run, organically growing organisation. Work within the commercial and industrial sectors of the construction industry with clients such as Diageo, Savills, Thames Water, Workspace, Local Councils & The Crown Estate.
Financially sound, with a healthy order book of work that is mostly made up of projects ranging in value from £1m - £5m with the biggest at £11m.
The Role:
Due to a retirement, the business is looking for a local, professional, polite, disciplined, and friendly individual who is passionate about buildings and the construction industry and is seeking an opportunity to work for a local and reputable contractor, who have good values and good morals.
Essentials:
·A background and proven track record of time-spent with previous employers
·Quantity Surveying and Estimating experience
·Any experience of estimating, pricing and costing from First Principles would be beneficial for this role.
·Local to Romford
·Someone with good values
