Job Summary:
Position: Healthcare Traveler (likely ICU Stepdown or similar)
Shift: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM)
Unit: Acute Care, ICU Stepdown with floating requirements to sister ICCU unit
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week, 12-hour shifts; No overtime until after 48 hours
Target Patient Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1
Unit Details: Telemetry monitoring, arterial lines, vasoactive drips, chest tubes, and a variety of post-surgical/acute care patients.
Required Skills/Certifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, and Critical Care.
Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and experience with IV start, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
Additional Skills: Arterial lines, dysrhythmia management, central/PICC line care, hemodynamic monitoring, and various respiratory protocols.
