Basic Job Functions: The role of a Nucor Marion Electrician is to work with the maintenance and operations teams to achieve the safest, most efficient and most cost effective means of operation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading all types of production equipment, which includes motors, drives, cranes, controls and instruments, working on process improvement projects, and providing electrical support to operations. The qualified candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: * Committed to their own personal Safety and the safety of others around them, the Quality of their work, and the Profitability of the division * Two year electrical technical degree or equivalent experience in industrial electrical maintenance Preferred Qualifications: * Four year technical degree * Prior Steel industry experience in electrical maintenance * Extensive AC & DC motors and drives experience * Knowledge and experience with Power systems maintenance * PLC systems building, programming, and troubleshooting experience * Good mechanical, hydraulic and process knowledgeApply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjk3ODk2LjEwNTA4QG51Y29yY29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20
