Job DetailsMedical Surgical / Telemetry nurse position available at Humboldt Park Health.Start Date: 12/2 with Bi-weekly orientation.Guaranteed Hours: 72hrs biweekly – 1 cancellation allowed per 2-week period.Shift Requirements: 12 hour Nights - NO BLOCK SCHEDULE REQUESTS.Every other weekend/Holiday rotation.Primary Location: Humboldt Park Health, Chicago, IL.COVID BOOSTER Vaccination is required unless medical/religious declination is applicable. Declination must be approved by committee prior to start date.GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed. 12 hours non-billable orientation.
Job RequirementsMinimum Experience: 2+ years.NO NEW TRAVELERS - at least one completed contract required.Required Skillset: Perform phlebotomy. Need to be able to read and interpret strips.Charting Experience: Meditech preferred - mandatory Meditech training must be done in compliance.
Schedule Information12 hr Nights.Float to Med/Surg if needed. May be floated to other units and tasked as an aid for additional support. Will know at beginning of each shift what floor they are assigned to.
Unit Specific InformationUnit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 24 bed, 1:7 patient ratio.Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates.Scrub Colors: Royal Blue.
