Position Summary & Responsibilities

The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) is seeking a Performance Analyst, who will collaborate with agency leadership on special projects focused on agency data reporting, and quality performance initiatives. The incumbent in this role is responsible for learning and understanding current data reporting, and how they relate to agency performance. The goal of this position is to streamline current report processes and ensure agency is meeting performance goals.

Successful applicants will be expected to have a solid working knowledge with computer applications such as Adobe, and Microsoft Office programs. As well as have the skill set to plan, present and implement programs relating to performance and data reporting.

Other duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Works closely with IT team to create and maintain a centralized data base, that will store and organize information, to accurately analyze and collect data for various agency reports. Individual will be responsible for data completeness, reliability, and ability identify data quality issues, implement corrections and develop data practices.
• As requested by leadership, will create reports, visual representations, and presentation of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable.
• Perform periodic reviews on agency procedures and processes to assess efficiencies, policy adherence and provide recommendations for improvement. Work with Operations Manager to develop internal sampling scope and annual plan to evaluate the effectiveness and compliance of current processes.
• Works with leadership to assess and manage risks to the agency and Board and determine compliance with policies and procedures.
• Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines. Assists leadership with management of safety and security and emergency planning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Six months of experience in providing direction necessary to implement the objectives of an agency, program or organizational unit. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years general office experience; with one year of experience in quality assurance, or data reporting.
