Overview

Senior Technical Program Manager

Bayview is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit, including management of one of the largest U.S. mortgage servicing rights portfolios in the country. Fastlane Financial Solutions ("Fastlane") is a new startup business within Bayview working to revolutionize the homeownership experience by providing customers with a robust digital platform and access to exclusive financial products. Our platform and products aim to simplify the mortgage process, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience beyond anything available to consumers today.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our fully remote team and lead transformative projects at the intersection of fintech, mortgage servicing, and consumer finance. As a remote-first organization, Fastlane is geographically distributed across the US - this role is fully remote anywhere in the United States, and can also take advantage of Bayview's offices in New York City, NY or Coral Gables, FL.

The total compensation range for this role is $200,000 to $250,000; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, location and key skills.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder integration projects with mortgage subservicers, enhancing our digital platform's reach and capabilities.
  • Spearhead the development and launch of innovative digital home insurance products, working with technology and business partners to expand our product offerings.
  • Drive the creation and growth of our personalized offers targeting engine, bringing together teams across decision science, engineering, product, and marketing to deliver a data-driven, customer-centric solution.
  • Develop comprehensive technical delivery and program delivery plans, aligning objectives and requirements across engineering, product, and business teams.
  • Leverage your depth of experience with distributed at-scale technology systems to directly influence technology architecture and planning for complex product and engineering efforts.
  • Drive delivery of technology initiatives across external partners, ensuring seamless integration, proactively identifying and addressing technology and program challenges/risks, creating and managing project timelines, and ensuring successful product launches.
  • Work as part of a small and efficient product development team dedicated to delivering bar-raising customer experiences and business value through fast, iterative initiatives and strong product practices.
Qualifications

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
  • Proven track record in managing complex distributed technical projects working directly with senior leadership in fintech or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, API integrations, and data pipeline architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong bias for action and innate sense of ownership over all aspects of your program, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Analytical skillset to collect, analyze, communicate, and action insights based on factual data and insights.
  • Low ego and collaborative spirit, able to build strong relationships across teams and between engineering and business leadership.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • 10+ years of experience with the end-to-end software product development lifecycle, including both technical (architecture, tech design, development and testing), as well as non-technical stages (go-to-market, launch plan, customer testing).
  • 5+ years technical program management, engineering or other or technical leadership experience.
  • Experience with project delivery for cross-functional technical projects.
  • Experience and proficiency with cloud and web technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, or equivalent professional experience.
