Job Description

Position Summary

Our Los Angeles office has an opportunity for an Employment Litigation Of Counsel to join the firm's expanding practice. The Employment Counsel will be expected to perform all the duties of a traditional law firm attorney, with an emphasis on counseling clients on employment-law-related matters. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing legal research, drafting of legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings, attending court conferences, handling discovery-related activities and investigations, drafting of position statements and dispositive motions, and counseling clients on employment-law-related matters. The right candidate will have a passion for employment law, strong analytical and writing skills, and will add their enthusiasm to our affable, team-oriented environment.

Requirements
• Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law in California and in good standing in California. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
• 9+ years of Employment Litigation Defense experience is preferred.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

In accordance with California's amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $230,000 and $285,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. A competitive hours-based bonus is also available. This position qualifies for the benefits below.
