Associate Tax Specialist

Job Summary
The Associate Tax Specialist is responsible for processing paper tax returns, check payments and payment coupons during peak season. The Associate Tax Specialist will also support the distribution functions.

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $17.65/hr-$28.26/hr. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on the position. Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Basic administrative skills
- Prepare tax returns using BNA, Paycor software and agency websites based instructional guides provided by the tax department.
- Responsible for processing paper tax returns, online tax entries, and collating tax checks and coupons.
- Organize and maintain all of the instructional documents based on feedback and collaboration with tax department.
- Ensure all assigned task are completed accurately, timely and completely.
- Availability to work additional hours as needed
- Crosstrain and support all other distribution functions including payroll, wage garnishments and other tasks.

- Detailed oriented
- Strong interpersonal, communications and organizational skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Basic computer skills including ability to navigate folders, print and save documents.
