The Business Data Manager, Wealth Management is a member of the leadership team for WM Data and Analytics team. This position's primary outcome is ensuring developing data capabilities in partnership with various business stakeholders across Wealth Management. And build partnerships with business and Enterprise in order to succeed in key strategic business initiatives for Wealth Management. Responsible for: growing existing and newly forming capabilities/experience teams that dramatically raise the maturity of our data program. A key part of the role is to build strong relationships with Enterprise stakeholders outside of Data. Another key part is deeply understanding Wealth Management's business strategy and translating it clearly for the teams without micromanaging. Provides leadership and direction through other data leads. Is accountable for the overall progress and results to business stakeholder. Role models mastery of servant leadership, empowering and coaching others, effective collaboration, clear communication, and continuous learning. First and foremost, holds self accountable for challenges and obstacles any others in their group may face. Holds peers accountable for servant leadership, empowering and coaching others, effective collaboration, clear communication, and continuous learning.

Major duties:

• Ensure teams in data team succeed in support of key strategic business initiatives for Wealth Management and in alignment with various business units.

• Develops strategic communication in collaboration with various data leaders and Chief Data Officer and provide updates on incremental business benefits.

• Deeply understand how the visions and roadmaps of various capabilities and teams in your affect the broader Wealth Management business and vice versa.

• Identify cross capability data dependencies and ensure that teams are working towards mutually beneficial outcomes

• Build lasting relationships with key Wealth Management executive stakeholders. Influence enterprise decision makers and manage enterprise stakeholders in order to achieve group objectives.

• Lead business workshops by setting clear objectives, agenda and timeboxing and developing MIRO boards.

• Say No wisely to Wealth Management stakeholders so that new strategically important priorities are only introduced by radically deprioritizing existing work, with all its attendant costs.

• Coordinate and collaborate with other Data Managers and Digital leadership to make decisions about which strategic projects to take on from the broader WM business.

• Demonstrate a deep understanding how all of the Wealth Management practices are evolving

• Decide in conjunction with business stakeholders the relative priority of strategic business and risk-related initiatives.

• Role model mastery of servant leadership, empowering and coaching others, effective collaboration, clear communication, creating psychological safety, and continuous learning.

• Role model open-mindedness and also how to disagree and commit.

• Enable collective success by constantly seeking to understand the needs of those with the least power and address them at a OCOO level working with DCPX and GFO.

• Champion organization-wide initiatives to develop others' leadership.

• Proactively drive ample celebrations of milestones. Amply recognize the strengths of others and progress over perfection.

• Empower others to fail, learn, and grow.

• Wisely adjudicate conflicts between your group teams when requesting additional resources from Wealth management or prioritizing conflicting team needs.

• Enable and reinforce adoption of common ways of working.

• Drive the adoption and updating of real-time execution dashboard

• Ensure integrated roadmaps are created and maintained for data teams

• Maintain a pulse on our vendors' innovations relevant to your group.

• Ensure meetings are as minimal and efficient as necessary to achieve effective collaboration

• Demonstrate reasonable understanding of underlying technical solutions, tech architecture, and business architecture development

• Risk and compliance optimization.

Experience

• Data Management expertise (15+ years)

• Experience in a senior leadership positions in Data and Analytics Organizations

• Experience within the wealth management industry and other financial services is preferred.

• Experience with a consulting firms and data storytelling and Power point is preferred
