Regional Sales Manager – Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)
Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding the customer base, and strengthening customer relationships within an assigned geographic region. This individual will focus on promoting the company's electronics manufacturing services, including quick-turn prototyping and full-scale production solutions, to customers in key industries. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronics manufacturing, a results-driven mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in the region.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive the acquisition of new accounts in the electronics manufacturing sector.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders in existing and prospective accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the region, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Manage and prioritize opportunities, developing a deep understanding of the territory and key accounts to maximize growth.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create custom solutions that meet customer requirements and align with company capabilities.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, monitoring progress toward sales goals and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline development, and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Work closely with the engineering, operations, and customer service teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s brand and expand the customer base.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience in electronics manufacturing or EMS, with a proven record in sales targets and territory management.
- Experience with EMS contracts, including negotiating terms and managing client relationships.
- Familiar with industry standards (IPC, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949).
- Skilled in understanding technical requirements and communicating complex specifications.
- Knowledgeable in DFM and DFT concepts.
- Experienced in program launch planning and execution for seamless design-to-manufacturing transitions.
- Strong grasp of electronics manufacturing processes, from quick-turn prototyping to full-scale production.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally.
- Familiarity with quick-turn prototype processes and high-volume production requirements.
- Existing network within relevant industries (e.g., medical devices, automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics).
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrates a strong focus on achieving goals and driving revenue.
- Customer-Centric: Builds trusted relationships by prioritizing customer needs and delivering valuable solutions.
- Strategic Thinking: Identifies opportunities for growth and tailors sales approaches to the market dynamics.
