Job Description

Position Summary:

As a Senior Integration Specialist, you will be the technical lead responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the successful integration of Motive's software solutions with external systems and platforms. This role requires deep expertise in system integration, technical leadership, and hands-on experience in integration technologies. You will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors to create robust integration solutions that meet business needs.

Main Responsibility Areas:
  • Provide dedicated skilled personnel for support and troubleshooting, testing, and bug fixes for any issues related to the HDM cluster in the Reston data center.
  • Work with Verizon Operations team during business hours on application monitoring and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in deploying HDM maintenance patches and hot fixes as mutually agreed upon.
  • Confirm site readiness.
  • Provide and review with Verizon the high-level MOP, including the roll-back plan in the event of an adverse network impact.
  • Propose and receive Verizon's verification of the MOP and verification plan at least three (3) Business Days before the upgrade work commences consistent with the Verizon change control requirements.
  • Provide Project Management ("PM") services for duration of project. Utilize a Project Manager who will function as a SPOC and coordinate project activities through final delivery of all contracted-for elements, coordinating all in-scope tasks until project closeout. The assigned Project Manager(s) will be guided by the principles of PM established by the Project Management Institute (PMI®).
  • Within ten (10) Business Days of the date of acceptance of a valid Order, provide a PM plan and schedule management plan (project timeline) which accords with the deliverables schedule and includes critical paths and key milestones.
  • Collaborate to further develop the PM plan and schedule management plan (project timeline).
  • Gain consensus/approval on a communication management plan which includes status meeting location/duration/frequency, and reporting content and format with distribution list and media type. The communication management plan will also include exception reporting and escalations.
  • Establish a change management plan, which is a change control system of formal documented procedures that define how project Deliverables are controlled, changed and approved.
  • Manage resources - allocate staff and other resources (e.g. equipment, laboratories, etc.) and gain commitment to project schedule.
  • Analyze and track project risks to verify that risks are identified, status is reported and appropriate risk response plans are executed. Escalate and issue jeopardies as necessary.
  • Provide a skilled architect who will assist with system improvements, review code quality and implement best practices for HDM Software as per Nokia product guidelines.
  • Lead architectural and functional discussions, illustrating all subsystems, interconnection points, interface types and functional layers relative to delivery of a functional solution.
  • Provide technical oversight of the Service delivery covering technical definition, design, development, deployment, integration and testing.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for Verizon for technical issues and acquire the appropriate resources to resolve issues.
  • Validate acceptance criteria between Verizon and the Nokia deployment team.
  • Ascertain that all technical teams have consistent and up-to-date Verizon prerequisites to complete their tasks.
  • Assess Verizon-driven technical changes to the program for impact on the rest of the activities (design, deploy, operate) and initiate the correct course of action while maintaining the integrity of the solution.
  • Support the overall PM function that will jointly manage the planning, coordinating and the execution of the project from both a technical subject matter expertise and project management perspective.
  • Assist in deploying and testing HDM maintenance patches and hot-fixes.
  • Assist in deploying and testing HDM policies and content.
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in software/system integration, with a focus on large-scale or complex integration projects.
  • Proven experience working with APIs, web services, and integration tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Talend, etc.).
  • Extensive experience with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise software integrations.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Deep knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and other data formats/technologies.
  • Strong background in databases (SQL/NoSQL) and experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with middleware and enterprise service bus (ESB) solutions.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong client-facing skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Certification in integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
