Position: Plumbing Estimator
Are you a pro at estimating plumbing projects? Do you have a knack for numbers and a love for all things plumbing? If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you!

Our client is a unique plumbing contractor that embraces advanced technologies to create innovative solutions. They are seeking a Plumbing Estimator to join their team, and this could be your chance to shine!
As the Plumbing Estimator, you will play a vital role in the success of the company. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing your proven working experience in construction estimating or a related field
- Demonstrating a strong technical knowledge of various mechanical systems
- Applying your expertise in HVAC and piping systems, construction details/design, and relevant rules and regulations
- Collaborating with the team to develop thorough and accurate estimates and scope of work/proposal documents
- "Filling in the gaps" in bidding documents to ensure a complete estimate is produced
- Working independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Using your excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information
- Managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities
- Seamlessly navigating construction drawings and specifications
- Exercising your basic knowledge of construction accounting
To excel in this position, you should possess the following essential job functions:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- A strong background in construction estimating or a related field
- Deep knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, building products, and construction details/design
- Familiarity with relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Basic construction accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications
- Self-motivation and excellent time management skills
- The ability to work within deadlines and multitask with changing priorities
- The capability to develop thorough and accurate estimates and scope of work/proposal documents
