Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 11/25/2024
Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $1974.74 - $2275.25
Ultrasound Tech needed asap
DAYS; M-F, 8-hr shifts
To perform routine examinations in Ultrasound and; adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and/or therapeutic results; prepare patients for examinations
This requires independent judgment to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist.
1+ years of experience in ultrasound/sonography.
Must know all preps for each Radiology and Vascular / Cardiac U/S exams and procedures.
Positive attitude and demonstrated willingness to assess and improve work environment.
Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
Associate's Degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or Radiologic Technology
OR
Certificate of completion of Ultrasound/Sonography or Radiologic Technology program
BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) through ARDMS
RDMS Abdomen (AB) or RDMS Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) through ARDMS
Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)
Required Qualifications
1+ years of experience in ultrasound/sonography.
Must know all preps for each Radiology and Vascular / Cardiac U/S exams and procedures.
Positive attitude and demonstrated willingness to assess and improve work environment.
Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
