Job Description
**Job Title:** Radiology Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Nuclear Medicine
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 8H Days M-F, 0800 start with required call
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years
**License:** Required to submit
**Certifications:**
- BLS
- Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) Verification
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N) Verification
- COVID Vaccine Required
**Must-Have:**
- General Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology skills
- Must be able to start IVs
**Job Description:**
- Perform various imaging and diagnostic studies including Bone, Heart, and HIDA.
- Operate and manage department-specific equipment such as GE Hawkeye, ASAC forte, Vertex, and Single head scanners.
- Handle an average of 8-12 scans/studies per day.
- Utilize EMR and PACS systems, specifically McKesson, PACS, and Cerner.
- Collaborate closely with in-house radiologists and follow required protocols.
- Participate in weekend and holiday call rotations as necessary.
- Adhere to dress code policy, wearing teal scrubs (not provided).
- Complete required modules prior to assignment start, averaging 3-4 hours of non-billable time.
Please note that this job requires a teal scrub uniform and participation in a flexible call schedule, including evenings and weekends. You will be working in an acute care setting with no floating to other areas required.
