About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Junior IT Services Account Manager to join our team in Madison, WI. This role will specialize in providing tailored IT solutions and services to clients in the Insurance and Banking sectors. As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring the successful delivery of IT services, and driving account growth.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in IT services, with specific expertise or interest in the financial services industry, particularly Insurance. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients in the insurance and banking sectors. Build strong, long-lasting relationships to ensure high client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Account Development & Strategy:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and IT requirements. Develop tailored IT solutions and services that meet their specific challenges and goals. Drive account growth by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional services.
- Project Oversight & Delivery:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of IT solutions, managing timelines, budgets, and client expectations. Monitor the progress of ongoing projects and resolve any issues or delays in a timely manner.
- Business Process Optimization:
- Leverage your expertise in insurance and banking operations to propose innovative IT solutions that streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
- Regularly communicate with senior executives and key stakeholders on the status of accounts, project delivery, and service levels. Prepare and present performance reports, action plans, and recommendations to clients.
- Contract Negotiation & Renewal:
- Assist in the negotiation of service agreements and contracts. Manage the process of renewing contracts and expanding service offerings to clients.
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with internal teams, including technical, sales, and project management, to ensure the successful delivery of services and a unified approach to client management.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in IT services management, with a strong focus on client account management in the insurance and banking industries. Proven track record in managing large, complex accounts and projects.
- Industry Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of the technology needs, challenges, and regulatory environment specific to the insurance and banking sectors. Familiarity with financial software, data security, compliance requirements, and enterprise IT systems is preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
- Analytical and strategic thinking to identify client needs and propose innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and agile methodologies.
- Education:
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) would be a plus.
- Location:
- This position is based in Madison, WI. Local candidates preferred as no sponsorship is available for this role.
