Concrete Restoration Finishers

Browning Chapman is a rapidly growing specialty contractor with operations in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Ft. Myers and Dallas. We are looking for concrete finishers to work in commercial and industrial environments. Applicants must have concrete repair experience, be punctual, reliable, hard-working individuals who have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and can pass a standard drug screen. Additionally, he or she should be a good listener, follow instructions and all safety policies. We offer a competitive wage, insurance benefits, 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off (PTO).

Finisher Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate with project site-foreman
• Ability to complete project tasks with no oversite from site-foreman
• Demo concrete with jack hammers (horizontal, vertical and overhead)
• Ability to patch and finish concrete with different modified mortars & cements
• Know how to operate multiple tools including bull float, power screed, edgers, hand floats, finish trowels, finish brooms, and basic concrete finishing tools
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site
• Operate a skid steer, forklift, and dingo with proper in-house training.
• Work at heights using lifts, scaffolding or swing stages with proper in-house training & safety restraints

Finisher Qualifications & Skills:

• Knowledge of modified mortar & cement types
• Knowledge of formwork
• Knowledge of project drawings, specifications, product data and safety data sheets a plus
• Knowledge of expansion joint systems, joint sealants, traffic membrane systems a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a standard drug screen
• Must be a good listener and follow instruction
• Must have the ability to work flexible hours (i.e., nights, weekends, overtime) as needed
• Must be willing to travel regionally with per diem compensation
• Must own basic hand tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour
