Occupational Therapist - Eating Disorders Specialist
Location: Roehampton, London
Position: Occupational Therapist (Eating Disorders)
Salary: £28,500 to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist specializing in eating disorders to join a dedicated mental health team in Roehampton. This role focuses on making a positive impact in the lives of individuals facing complex mental health challenges related to eating disorders. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing therapeutic programs that encourage recovery, support independence, and improve overall quality of life. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to a patient-centered approach that assists individuals as they progress through varying levels of care.
Key Responsibilities:
You will deliver specialized occupational therapy interventions to support patients with eating disorders in their recovery journey.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that promote long-term patient wellbeing.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will uphold best practices, ensuring therapeutic activities meet the highest standards of patient care.
What We're Looking For:
You will be a Registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration and hold a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy.
Experience in mental health and eating disorders is preferred but not essential; candidates eager to grow in this field are encouraged to apply.
You will bring a compassionate approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
