Principal Process Engineer

Job Description
The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to delivering projects from our clients Aberdeen office, primarily on Energy projects. The successful candidate will have significant experience in chemical/process engineering design for chemical plants and ideally within an engineering consultancy or contracting environment.
They will have good understanding of risk management, HSE requirements, and technical safety including HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL Classification using LOPA. They will be experienced in developing process design deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, Heat and Material Balances, and safety documentation. They will require a strong proficiency with process modelling tools like UniSim, HYSYS, ASPEN Plus, or VMGsim.
We are especially keen to speak to chartered chemical engineers who have experience in hydrogen facility design or production operations. There will be an expectation for office-based work at least two days a week and flexibility for site visits and client meetings. The role will report directly to the Head of Process Engineering
