My client are a highly respected Tier 1 Main Contractor, based in Central London, they currently have an exciting new project, a highly prestigous client, and are now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

The project is for a highly prestigious client who require a CAT B Fitout based in Central London.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with the project's procurement strategy, including subcontract enquiries and tender reviews.
Manage valuations, project cashflows and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records
Provide legal and contractual advice on orders and changes, handling notices and subcontractor admin.
Drive commercial initiatives, producing margin improvement plans and supporting team members in maximising opportunities.
Lead and manage junior staff, ensuring workload targets, deadlines and commercial tasks are met and updated monthly.Senior Quantity Surveyor skills required:

Minimum 5 years’ Senior Quantity Surveyor experience
Clear understanding of the different forms of contracts
Degree qualification (Construction Management or similar)
Tier 1 Main Contractor background- preferred
The ability to work collaboratively and part of a team.
