Job Title: Section Planner

Type: Contract

Location: Ashford, Kent

Day rate: Dependant on Experience

Job Reference: BMSP

I am looking for an experienced Section Planner to work on a contracting basis across the whole of Kent, based out of Ashford.

This contract will be 6 months long initially.

The role:

This role would suit an existing Section Planner, or someone with extensive prior experience as a Possessions Planner.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Compile and maintain infrastructure maintenance documentation.
Lead and manage weekly Plan-Do-Review sessions
Act on behalf of Section Managers during planning meetings.
Prepare draft versions of quarterly plans.
Develop Safe System of Work plans.
Submit requests for green zone access and isolation.
Organise and optimise all assigned tasks for the section.
Update systems, databases, and records with precision as needed.

Essential requirements:

Expertise in producing work plans and optimising resources
Core Planning Skills Level 2
Experience with scheduling profiles in work planning/scheduling systems
Proficiency in the Safe System of Work Planning Process and System
Understanding of access and possession procedures and systems
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities

Desirable:

Experience using SSOWPS Ellipse
Understanding of maintenance delivery methods and techniques
