Climate17 is delighted to be partnering with a mission-driven, international scale-up in the climate space (carbon removal).
My client is seeking immediate part-time support (4 hours per day) on a temporary basis. As Senior Manager, People & Culture, the primary needs will be (1) ATS pipeline management and candidate scheduling, (2) help with onboarding new employees (3) help with employee performance reviews in January. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, ambitious and growing international company with a genuine shared mission to address climate change.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of mid-level experience with modern HR operations, including ATS, HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Ability to operate independently, make appropriate decisions, and seek direction as needed.
- Expected to work independently, with regular coordination from circle lead. Responsible for regular org-wide communication on various HR topics, via Microsoft Teams and/or email.
- Coordinate new employee recruitment efforts with all relevant stakeholders, including job postings, ATS automations, pipeline management, interview scheduling, and other tasks as necessary.
- Work with Operations circle (legal and compliance) to ensure that all employment contracts and EOR arrangements are accurate, up to date, and compliant with applicable laws
- Coordinate employee offboarding process with all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that all employment documentation and employee files are complete and compliant with all relevant labor regulations.
- Coordinate regular employee satisfaction surveys, including summarization of feedback into useful learnings for Head of People & Culture and management team
- Support the administration of payroll processes and benefits administration, as needed.
- Support processes for employee grievances and discipline, as needed.
- Organize and support in-person team events such as Teamdays, team breakfasts, and special events, including travel arrangements for out-of-area employees
- Ensure relevant HR procedures are accurately documented in Confluence, updating them as needed.
- Special projects as directed by the Head of People & Culture
