• Proficient in managing and supervising contractors for inspection, risk assessment, renovation, servicing, and maintenance tasks.


• Prepared to participate in emergency planning and standby rotations.


• Capable of conducting surveys and inspections to diagnose repair defects and order effective remedial works.


• Adept in desktop diagnosis of customer repair inquiries to offer effective solutions and minimize unnecessary site inspections.

What the Job Involves

• Ensuring the health, safety, and condition of council-owned dwellings by identifying and analyzing defects.


• Managing cost-effective works and maintaining adherence to time, quality, and budget constraints.


• Planning, preparing, procuring, and overseeing the delivery of capital works programs, from inception to completion.


• Managing, administering, procuring, and supervising the work of contractors involved in inspections, risk assessments, renovations, servicing, and maintenance of council properties.


• Participating in emergency planning and a standby rota as required.


• Conducting surveys and inspections of council-owned property to diagnose repair defects and ordering effective remedial works.


• Preparing strategies, reports, and feasibility studies on related subjects.


• Providing desktop diagnosis of customer repair inquiries to determine effective remedial work and reduce unnecessary site inspections.
