Job Description
Overview:
Are you a Year 5 Teacher (preferably with QTS) looking for a dynamic new teaching role in an excellent primary school with a rich history?
Do you enjoy inspiring students in Year 5 with engaging KS2 lessons?
This school are seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher who can bring passion and energy to their growing KS2 Team.
You will be expected to deliver high quality lessons to a diverse group of students, helping them excel in their language skills and cultural understanding.
This role is for one-term initially, within the possibility (but not obligation) to extend should you wish.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred, however an overseas qualification with a UK NARIC is also accepted.
You will need to:
* Work as a Year 5 Teacher by planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
* Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
* Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
* Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and safeguarding.
* Within your role as a Year 5 Teacher you will need to teach both the KS2 Curriculum.
* Commit yourself full-time for one / two academic terms from January to April or July.
Qualifications
* Experience as a KS2 Teacher within a UK Primary School.
* Qualified Teacher Status or an Overseas Qualification with a UK NARIC.
* Strong knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum.
* Confidence in maintaining a good code of behaviour.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students
