Electrician/Electrical Supervisor Job Description:
As a rapidly growing electrical testing and contracting company, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our close-knit team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves a balanced mix of onsite works (Electrical Testing, Installations, Remedial Works, and Emergency Lighting Maintenance) and office-based tasks, such as:
* A variaion of on-site and office based duties
* Completing electrical on-site works such as EICR, installs, maintenance, testing
* Preparing quotes, reports, and certificates.
* Planning and scheduling jobs efficiently.
* Providing electrical technical advise to other members of the team
* Developing our electrical apprentices
* Creating Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
The role requires flexibility, as most onsite work will be local, but some projects may involve overnight stays or shifts for specific jobs. These are managed with advance notice and are infrequent.

Electrician/Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
* Design, maintain, implement, and improve electrical systems for private and public sector clients.
* Conduct Electrical Testing, Installations, and Remedial Works with a commitment to safety and efficiency.
* Diagnose and rectify electrical faults for commercial and industrial clients.
* Prepare and submit Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) using certification software.
* Handle office-based tasks, including quotes, reports, job planning, and RAMS creation.
* Collaborate with customers and fellow engineers to deliver a seamless, professional service.
* Be flexible to travel for work, including the occasional requirement for overnight stays or shifts.

* Ability to work overnight shifts or stay away from home when required (occasional and planned in advance).
* Full, clean driving licence.
* Experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
