We are currently seeking a lively fully qualified electrically biased facilities maintenance engineer that maybe looking for a new challenge and possible a change in the direction of their career. Working direct for a ground-breaking data hosting company that can offer career stability and progression within a rapidly expanding and career proofing industry. The brand-new state of the art N+1 site is a 32 Mw data centre with the provision to expand to 64 Mw ensuring longevity for the future.

If you are an ambitious and proactive engineer that is up for a challenge, you could be rewarded with an opportunity to work direct for one of the top five world data hosting companies. Engineers must hold full electrical qualifications, minimum of City & Guilds Electrical installations and will need to have good hands-on experience of carrying out the planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and HVAC systems. Engineers that have not previously worked in a Data Centre environment will be considered as enthusiasm, willingness to learn and up for the challenge are the key points for this role.

The duties will encompass:

Assisting the shift engineers during their day shifts.
Carrying out PPM’s to both Electrical & HVAC systems.
Completing statutory compliance.
Assist with small works projects.
Escort Contractors working on site
