Surrey – Technical Sales Engineer – £35k-£45k - Scientific Instrumentation
Platform Recruitment has partnered with an innovative provider of nice scientific instrumentation products. They are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team. You will be working in a small, dynamic team, so it is important that you are flexible and self-motivated. The majority of customers are scientists and engineers, so a strong background and interest in science or engineering is essential.
Main Duties:
+ Developing and managing the business with assigned distributors
+ Identifying specific business needs and providing product sales training for distributors
+ Establishing and maintaining relationships with key customers
+ Creating/identifying new sales opportunities and developing them into sales
+ Selecting and appointing new distributors for the required markets
Requirements:
+ 2-5 or more years of sales experience
+ Instrumentation sales experience
+ Scientific/engineering advantageous
+ Microscopy/spectroscopy sales experience advantageous
Salary/Location:
+ The salary for this position is expected to be £35k-£45k (negotiable)
+ A 15% bonus also comes as part of the package, with private healthcare
+ This role is based in Surrey, with hybrid working options available after probationary period
