Up to £45,000
Embark on an adventure that spans the globe! As a Service Technician, you’ll be the vital link in setting up, testing, and commissioning cutting-edge equipment worldwide. Travel to locations like China, the US, and Mexico, spending at least 130 days a year abroad.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Set Up & Test: Prepare and test client’s equipment for dispatch.
* Commission Equipment: Install and bring their technology to life at overseas factories.
* Train Operators: Equip factory staff with the skills to use and maintain our machines.
* Collaborate & Report: Work closely with various teams and provide insightful feedback and recommendations.
What They’re Looking For:
* Engineering Expert: Completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally with an ONC or HNC in Engineering.
* Mechanical Pro: Skilled in mechanical assembly, fault diagnosis, and using measuring tools like micrometres and vernier callipers.
* Electrical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical control circuits and PLCs.
* Detail-Oriented: Excellent at interpreting mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
* Great Communicator: Can write clear reports and communicate effectively at all levels.
* World Traveller: Must have a valid passport and be up-to-date on travel vaccinations and health requirements.
