About the opportunity:
* Oversee technical aspects of construction projects from planning to execution.
* Collaborate with architects and engineers to review and approve design specifications.
* Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, addressing challenges as they arise.
* Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in construction practices and materials.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Maintain accurate records of technical documents, including plans, specifications, and compliance reports.
* Serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication on technical matters.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £70k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
About the requirements:
* Previous experience as a Technical Manager or Design Manager with a national or regional housebuilder.
* HNC/HND in a building-related field.
* CSCS card or equivalent qualification.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues quickly and effectively.
* Proven ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally.
* Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
