Maintenance Service Engineer, Electrical Bias
WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
Annual salary of circa £42K-£48K depending on shifts worked
Double day shift rotation - 5:30am-2:15pm week one and rotating to 1:45pm-10:15pm week 2 (in periods of peak production the business offers a night shift with enhanced rates)

THE BUSINESS
Our client is a leading manufacturing business based in Hartlepool. They are a high value manufacturer who utilise a variety of automated and semi-automated machine processes to produce their products. They have a wide portfolio of products within their brand and they act to serve a variety of markets. THE ROLE
Delivering planned and reactive maintenance within a high-volume production facility
Maintaining automated and semi-automated equipment such as conveyors, presses, cutting machines, guillotines, cnc machinery and levelling machines, etc
Also working to ensure facilities maintenance
Follow work methods and procedures to ensure the smooth running of plant equipment.
Solve equipment issues using effective fault diagnosis skills.
Implement immediate containment, together with longer term innovative solutions.
Ensure all documentation is completed as required.
Follow routine preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Liaise with and supervise external contractors whilst on site.
Maintain, document and order critical and consumable spares consignments.
Carry out overhauls, upgrades and rebuild equipment.
Undertake the commissioning and installation of new equipment
Performs other duties as requested in line with position held within the business
THE PERSON
Must be time served and multi-skilled with an Electrical bias.
Experienced working within a high-volume production environment
PLC experience is preferred – Siemens S7
Mechanically competence
FMCG experience is preferred
Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyor control systems
Experience in manufacturing environments preferred
Ability to prioritise & manage multiple opportunities and deadlines
Professionalism and ethics
Continuous self-improvement
Must be happy to work shifts
Must be flexible and be a self-starter
Health and safety competence
