Do you have experience in the house building environment? Are you detailed focused and hardworking? If so you belong at Bromford.
As a technical coordinator you'll be responsible for managing all technical aspects on multiple projects, from the planning stage to post completion. You will play a central role in ensuring that Bromford can deliver our purpose, quality homes on time and on budget.
You might be working to procure and appoint the consultant team at the start of a project, but before you are done you will need to take note of all the details, leading the consultant team to ensure all aspects of the detailed design is completed on time, checking that it is in line with programme and cost constraints; and ultimately making sure it is finished up to regulation compliance.
It is a detail focused job, but vital as errors in design can impact the programme or costs. By helping with planning and S106 conditions discharge, and through liaison with the local authorities on issues such as securing highways and drainage statutory approvals, you will very much lead the way in helping Bromford to take our plans from concept into reality.
This role is permanent and full time. You'll be based from our main office in Chipping Sodbury with regular home working available. A basic DBS and consumer check are required.

In this role, we want you to bring:
- An awareness of building regulations and statutory compliance requirements
- An understanding of Architectural, Civil & Structural, Mechanical & Electrical design and Public Health design.
- Experience of producing design programmes
- An awareness of build costs and programme impacts associated with design development
- Good IT skills and written communication.
- Ability to use own initiative and able to work independently but know when to escalate and seek advice.
