Job Description
I’m pleased to share that we are working with a fantastic business based in Doncaster, who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to predominantly oversea the Accounts Payable function.

Role Overview:
As an Accounts Assistant, the successful candidate will be working with the Finance Manager, assisting with the purchase ledger and other critical finance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Processing purchase invoices across multiple divisions: logging, matching with delivery notes/orders, and distributing for approval.
*
Assisting with weekly employee timesheets, wages, and handling related queries.
*
Managing supplier payment inquiries and liaising on issues related to payments and balances.
*
Accurately inputting invoices into the finance system and coding them to the correct projects and nominal accounts.
Candidate Requirements:
*
Relevant experience in a finance or accounts role; experience in the construction industry is advantageous though not required.
*
Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and organisational skills.
*
Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Benefits:

Starting salary of £24,000, with the opportunity for a discretionary increase following successful completion of the probation period.
*
25 days of holiday plus statutory holidays.
