Job Description
I'm looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Diss.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your role will include:
Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules.
Improve and maintain production processes or services within buildings.
Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and manage people, projects, and resources.
Develop, test and evaluate theoretical designs.
Discuss and resolve complex problems with manufacturing areas.
Liaise with contractors and sub-contractors.
Manage projects using engineering principles and techniques.
Plan and design new production processes
Produce details of specifications and designs
Consider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time restraints.
Respond promptly to any reported faults or break downs.
Liaise with other professionals, within and outside of the engineering sector.
Monitor and commission plant and systems.Qualifications and Skills needed for this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:
18th edition
ECS Gold Card (not essential).
Testing and Inspection 2392 or equivalent.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems would be an advantage.
Ability to work in a team and communicate with back-office staff.
Organised and a good timekeeper.Shift:
48 hour week plus overtime
Monday to Friday
Shifts from 6am - 6pm
1 hour lunch break which is paidIn return, our client will offer the following:
Hourly Pay (Before Probation End) is £17.50 an hour
Hourly Pay (Post Probation) is £18.50
This equates to £46,852
